I love these boats, they're just sitting on the beach... waiting! I love the way the colours of the boats and their covers compliment each other and the eeriness of the sky!

Herne Bay is a seaside town in Kent, South East England, with a population of 35,000. On the south coast of the Thames Estuary, it is 7 miles (11 km) north of Canterbury and 1 mile (2 km) east of Whitstable. It neighbours the ancient villages of Herne and Reculver and is part of the City of Canterbury local government district. Until 1978, the town had the second-longest pier in the United Kingdom.

Beautiful photograph.
I live on the New Jersey, USA coast and the water is one of my favorite subjects.
Sunbathing must be hard on those rocks. : )
