Herne Bay is a seaside town in Kent, South East England, with a population of 35,000. On the south coast of the Thames Estuary, it is 7 miles (11 km) north of Canterbury and 1 mile (2 km) east of Whitstable. It neighbours the ancient villages of Herne and Reculver and is part of the City of Canterbury local government district. Until 1978, the town had the second-longest pier in the United Kingdom.

That's a great photo but I'm surprised at the weather. It's been really warm and sunny in Gloucestershire... sorry!
