This is the entrance to the Christian Centre, it was open for at least 25 years and was used for Holidays and Conferences.
At the moment it stands empty waiting for someone to buy it!

Herne Bay is a seaside town in Kent, South East England, with a population of 35,000. On the south coast of the Thames Estuary, it is 7 miles (11 km) north of Canterbury and 1 mile (2 km) east of Whitstable. It neighbours the ancient villages of Herne and Reculver and is part of the City of Canterbury local government district. Until 1978, the town had the second-longest pier in the United Kingdom.

Oh! What a shame. I had some good times there in the 70's. Probably too much competition, a lovely ethos was not enough to keep the finances going.
