Herne Bay is a seaside town in Kent, South East England, with a population of 35,000. On the south coast of the Thames Estuary, it is 7 miles (11 km) north of Canterbury and 1 mile (2 km) east of Whitstable. It neighbours the ancient villages of Herne and Reculver and is part of the City of Canterbury local government district. Until 1978, the town had the second-longest pier in the United Kingdom.

The aim of this daily photo blog is to invite you to enjoy the delights of Herne Bay as seen through the lenses of our matching Canon 350d's.... We three ladies all live in Herne Bay and hope to bring you a sense of all things nice about our town.... We may take a wander outside of Herne Bay... but we promise not to wander too far away from home!
